A delegation of the Venice Commission, including Ms Veronika Bílková, Vice-President of the Venice Commission and member in respect of Czechia, accompanied the election observation delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe to advise on the legal framework during the 2nd round of the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova on 3 November 2024.

The delegation observed the opening, voting and counting processes of the election.
