By letter dated 14 May 2024, the Minister of Justice of Armenia, Mr Grigor Minasyan, has requested an opinion of the Venice Commission and the Directorate General Human Rights and Rule of Law (DGI) of the Council of Europe on the draft amendments to the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code of Armenia. The draft opinion will be submitted for adoption at the 140th Plenary Session of the Commission (Venice, 11-12 October 2024).
