On 22 February 2023 the Minister of Justice of Montenegro submitted to the Venice Commission the Revised draft amendments to the Law on the Judicial Council and Judges for a follow up opinion. The revision of the draft amendments took place following the Commission’s opinion CDL-AD(2022)050, adopted at its December 2022 plenary session.
This draft follow-up opinion is prepared under the Expertise Co-ordination Mechanism in the framework of the European Union/Council of Europe joint programme “Horizontal Facility II”. It will be submitted for adoption at the 134th plenary session of the Commission (Venice, 10-11 March 2023).
