By letter dated 15 December 2022, the President of the PACE Monitoring Committee requested an opinion of the Venice Commission on the Law on Political Parties of Azerbaijan.

The draft opinion will be prepared jointly with the OSCE/ODIHR and submitted for adoption at the 134th plenary session of the Commission (10-11 March 2023).
