In the framework of the preparation of the Urgent Opinion on the revised draft law on the referendum and the people’s Initiative of Serbia, a delegation of the Venice Commission met online with the following institutions and interlocutors: • the Ministry of Public Administration and Local Self-Government, • the Ministry of Justice, • the Parliament (majority and minority MPs), • the Republic Election Commission (RIK), • international community, present in Serbia, and civil society organisations. The opinion is prepared under the Expertise Co-ordination Mechanism in the framework of the joint European Union and Council of Europe programme “Horizontal Facility for the Western Balkans and Turkey 2019-2022”. The urgent opinion will be issued in due time.
