By letter dated 14 May 2021, the Ombudsman and Chair of the Parliamentary and Health Service requested an opinion of the Venice Commission on the proposed exclusion of the Ombudsman from “safe space” investigations in the National Health Service. The draft opinion will be delivered for discussion and adoption at the 128th Plenary session (14-16 October 2021).
