The President of the National Assembly of Bulgaria requested the Venice Commission’s Urgent opinion on the draft constitutional amendments, recently submitted to the parliament of Bulgaria. This request was approved by the Commission’s Bureau; the Urgent opinion is in preparation and will be issued after the October 2020 plenary session.
