Lund - The Venice Commission, Finland’s Presidency of the Council of Europe and the Faculty of Law at Lund University (Sweden) organised a scientific conference entitled “The state of democracy thirty years after the fall of the Iron Curtain”. This conference in Lund is a follow-up to a seminar held in Lund in May 2000, which featured discussions on the development of the young democracies in Central and Eastern Europe.
