Sofia – The President of the Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio was invited to participate in a High-Level Conference of Ministers of Justice and representatives of the judiciary on the "Strengthening the independence and impartiality of the judiciary, a prerequisite for the rule of law in member states of the Council of Europe". This conference was organised by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Bulgaria in cooperation with the Council of Europe, in the framework of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
