By a letter sent on 23 July 2015, the Ministry of Justice of Peru has withdrawn its request for an opinion on the draft anti-discrimination legislation and the draft reform of the Criminal Code concerning hate crimes. The government informed the Commission that the draft reform has been postponed and the draft legislation will not be submitted to the Parliament.
