Bishkek – A workshop for judges and staff of the Constitutional Chamber of the Kyrgyz Republic on reasoning of judgements took place on 11 May 2015 in Bishkek. The workshop was followed by a Conference on the same topic for a wider public on 12 May. The speakers – practitioners and theorists of state building - presented the experience of their countries and that of the European Court of Human Rights as well as a comparative analysis of the purpose and functions of constitutional reasoning. These activities were organised jointly with the UNDP office in Bishkek within the projects aimed at supporting constitutional justice in the Kyrgyz Republic with funding provided by the European Union.
