Skopje – following a request for the Venice Commission’s opinion on a number of draft constitutional amendments, concerning, in particular, the composition of the Judicial Council, the powers of the Constitutional Court, the creation of a special financial zone and several other issues, a delegation of the Commission visits the country and meets with the authorities in order to discuss those amendments. The delegation will also hold discussions with representatives of opposition parties, professional associations and civil society.
