The Chairman of the PACE Monitoring Committee requested the Venice Commission to prepare an opinion the Law of Ukraine on "Prevention of threats to national security related to excessive influence of persons with significant economic or political weight in public life (oligarchs)".

The draft opinion will be submitted for adoption at the 134th Plenary Session of the Commission (10-11 March 2023).
