The Council of Europe’s World Forum for Democracy is an annual platform that brings together political leaders, civil society actors, academics and journalists to discuss key challenges facing democracies and to explore democratic innovation. The unit responsible for organising the Forum is currently seeking a seconded national expert from a Council of Europe member State to contribute to its work, in particular by shaping the Forum’s programme and policy outputs.

More broadly, the selected expert will also contribute to wider initiatives on democratic renewal, including within the framework of the development and implementation of the New Democratic Pact for Europe.

The position is based in Strasbourg, France, and the deadline for applications is 5 May.
