The Monegasque Presidency of the Committee of Ministers will hold a press conference to present several initiatives on youth and disinformation in the framework of the Council of Europe’s Journalists Matter Campaign, including an international youth conference to be held in Strasbourg on 9 and 10 November under the theme “Youth facing disinformation – Why journalists matter”.

Representatives of the Monegasque Government, experts and young people selected to take part in the Strasbourg event will participate.

The Council of Europe will present the Journalists Matter Campaign, under which the youth initiative is being developed.

At 6.30 p.m., a round table under the theme “Disinformation: what challenges, what responses?” will bring together journalists, researchers, experts, and civil society representatives to discuss disinformation, media literacy, and the role of platforms and journalists with the general public.

A series of spots on disinformation produced by the Government of Monaco will be presented. (Médiathèque Caroline, 5 Promenade Honore II)
