On 26 March, an exchange visit was organised at the Council of Alien Law Litigation in Brussels, as part of the Joint European Union-Council of Europe Child-friendly Justice Project. The visit included Representatives from Belgium, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Portugal, and Slovenia, as well as from the Council of Europe and the European Commission.
Participants were introduced to a newly designed courtroom, specifically co-created and adapted for children in the context of migration, along with child-friendly awareness-raising materials. In addition, judges and court staff shared insights and feedback on practices adapted for unaccompanied and separated children.
