On 19-20 September 2025, the Council of Europe project “Protecting the rights of Armenian children in post-conflict context” held its fourth training session on mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS) for children affected by traumatic events. The two-day training was focused on strengthening the capacity of lawyers working with children exposed to trauma, including in the context of migration. It equipped 20 participants with skills and tools to provide psychological support and assistance to such group of children within legal proceedings. Representatives of the Chamber of Advocates and the participating lawyers welcomed the training and emphasised the importance of sharing practical experiences in dealing with legal cases involving trauma-affected children.
