On 5 March, the Division on Migration and Refugees (DMR) held an online meeting with representatives of the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) Migration and Asylum Sector. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss ongoing and future projects of common interest and explore avenues for further cooperation.

The Council of Europe and FRA have a long-standing and fruitful collaboration in the area of migration and refugees. This cooperation has resulted in key publications, including Fundamental rights of refugees, asylum applicants and migrants at the European borders, and the  Handbook on European law relating to asylum, borders and immigration.
