On 8-9 December 2022, the Council of Europe supported a two-day session on effective business communication for the staff of the Prosecutors’ Training Centre of Ukraine (PTCU).

During these two days, 21 employees (14 female and 7 male) of the PTCU discussed the process of communication, identified its problems and tried to find solutions. They also analysed communicative skills paying particular attention to active listening and reasoning.  At the end of the session, participants addressed necessary steps to be taken for the improved promotion of the PTCU’s brand.

As a result of this event, participants generated ideas and elaborated recommendations for ensuring effective external and internal communication, which will contribute to overall improved operation of the PTCU particularly in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The event was organised with the support of the Council of Europe Project “Human rights compliant criminal justice system in Ukraine”, which is part of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine 2018-2022.
