On 10 April 2024, a consultative meeting of representatives of youth centres and youth councils of Ukraine "Judiciary through the eyes of young people" was held. The meeting was jointly organised by the Council of Europe projects "Support to the Judiciary of Ukraine in the Conditions of War and Post-War Period" and "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III". Representatives from Uzhhorod, Lviv, Vinnytsia, Kyiv and the region, Dnipro and the region, Kharkiv, Kremenchuk, Mykolaiv, Andriivka (Kramatorsk district) discussed the results of a survey of young people in their communities on what they would like to learn more about the judiciary and the work of judges in particular.

At the end of the meeting, the participants created a map of potential needs and opportunities for co-operation between youth centres/councils and courts at the local, regional and national levels, in particular through co-operation with the Council of Europe project "Support to the judiciary of Ukraine in the conditions of war and the post-war period" and submission of grant applications to the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.
