On 9 April 2026, the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine held a public presentation "National Youth Policy: Priorities, Programs, Partnerships" in Kyiv. Representatives of the authorities and organisations of the youth sector learned about key updates of the state youth policy, in particular the State Target Social Programme "Youth of Ukraine: Generation of Resilience – 2030".
As part of the discussion of one of the seven priorities of the programme – namely "Support to youth projects and the implementation of youth policy tasks" – the Council of Europe presented:
- the results of the long-term program "Access to Youth Work" for the development and implementation of projects of open youth work of newly established public organizations working with young people;
- the project "Improving the procedures of the Ukrainian Youth Fund in accordance with the standards and principles of the Council of Europe", implemented in 2024 by the Ukrainian Youth Foundation with the support of the Council of Europe;
- Grant competition to support initiatives for young people on access to youth work, which NGOs are implementing this summer;
- grant opportunities of the European Youth Foundation.
The public presentation "National Youth Policy: Priorities, Programs, Partnerships" was organised by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine in partnership with UNDP in Ukraine and ISAR "Ednannia" with the financial support of the Government of Denmark.
The Council of Europe project "Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase IV" is being implemented within the framework of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine "Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction" for 2023-2026.
