On 19 October 2023 Mr. Maciej Janczak, Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine, met with Mr. Andriy Chesnokov, Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports of Ukraine for European Integration.
Mr. Chesnokov congratulated Mr. Janczak on his appointment as Head of the Council of Europe Office in Ukraine, expressed his gratitude for the long-term fruitful co-operation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine and the Council of Europe in the field of youth policy and youth work.
Mr. Janczak congratulated Mr. Chesnokov and the Ministry team for the establishment of the new Occupational standard “Youth worker” and assured the readiness in the further support of implementation of Council of Europe standards in the youth sphere in Ukraine.
The state of implementation of the Council of Europe Action Plan for Ukraine for 2023-2026 “Resilience, Recovery and Reconstruction” in the field of youth and sports and the Project “Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III” were also discussed.
The meeting was also attended by Natalia Radchuk, head of the Department of International Co-operation and European Integration of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, and Liudmyla Kindrat, Project Officer of the Project “Youth for Democracy in Ukraine: Phase III”.
