Between April and December 2025, a total of 358 individuals accessed free legal information and support on property rights through a dedicated legal aid Helpline and accompanying outreach activities in Albania. Women accounted for approximately 46% of all beneficiaries, reflecting steady engagement with both individual legal assistance and targeted awareness-raising efforts aimed at vulnerable groups.

During this period, the free legal aid Helpline (+355692093731), operated by the Tirana Legal Aid Society (TLAS), with the support of the Action on “Improving the protection of the right to property and facilitating execution of ECtHR judgments in Albania (D-REX III)”, co-funded by the European Union and Council of Europe, delivered concrete results in improving access to property rights information and related remedies to Albanian citizens, especially vulnerable groups.

The awareness-raising activities, an important part of the Helpline held in Shkoza, Kombinat and Allias, contributed to bringing legal information closer to residents of local and vulnerable communities on the outskirts of Tirana.

These initiatives supported increased understanding of property rights, available domestic remedies and existing support mechanisms, while building greater awareness of avenues for seeking free legal assistance. Taken together, the results highlight the added value of combining free legal support with community-based awareness initiatives in facilitating access to rights and strengthening legal certainty for citizens.
