In June 2024, the Union of Journalists provided a course for newly graduated journalists and photographers and others interested in how to behave at the scene of an incident, stay on safe ethical ground and take care about oneself and colleagues after an incident. The course is a collaboration between Norwegian Union of Journalists Oslo, the Oslo Editors' Association, and the emergency services in Oslo (Police, Fire Department, and Health Services).
