Several German Länder continued to expand reporting and support mechanisms for victims of online harassment, hate speech and gender-based abuse. Specialised reporting centres and advisory services remained available in a number of Länder, including Baden-Württemberg, Hesse and Lower Saxony, providing journalists and other victims with accessible channels for reporting incidents and obtaining support.

These measures form part of broader efforts to combat hate crime, improve victim support and strengthen resilience against online threats targeting media professionals and other vulnerable groups.
