The Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O’Flaherty will carry out a visit to the country where he will focus on issues pertaining to the human rights of older persons in residential care.

He also intends to address issues concerning human rights and the environment.

In this context, on 21 October, he will deliver an open lecture on the state of human rights in Europe today at the Norwegian Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law, University of Oslo.
