  • Developing Intercultural Competence through Education Developing Intercultural Competence through Education (Pestalozzi series n°3) (2014)

The current volume takes one step further towards the full integration of intercultural competences as a key competence within the education system. It aims at offering an educational rationale and conceptual framework for the development of intercultural competence, as well as a clear description of its constitutive elements to be developed in and through education.

What shows that you are interculturally competent?

The Intercultural Cities Programme and the Pestalozzi Programme are launching a new web application. Optimised for smartphones and tablets this tool will help you look at your intercultural competence in a playful way, recognise your strong points as well as areas which need further development.
The present application is based on an educational tool developed by a group of education professionals from all over Europe.
