European Workshop:

„Converging Competences in Action – How to promote the balanced learning of subject specific and transversal attitudes, skills and knowledge“

CONTEXT

    The October workshop will stem from the training session organised at the end of June/beginning of July in Tartu (Estonia) on how to support, develop and evaluate transversal attitudes, skills and knowledge by teaching and learning. Recent work results and tools of the Pestalozzi Programme in the areas of: intercultural competences, education for democratic citizenship, socio-cultural diversity, core knowledge, skills and attitudes (and their theoretical background) will have been presented and analysed. Their use and usefulness in the practice of teaching and learning will have been evaluated. At the end of this initial session, participants will have been asked to prepare learning resources for piloting them in real classroom during the present workshop.

TARGET GROUP

    Teachers from basic and upper-secondary education institutions, teacher trainers.
