Russia signs the Lanzarote Convention


01.10.2012 - The Russian Federation has signed the Council of Europe Convention on the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse (CETS No. 201).

Signature of this Convention demonstrates the progress in the commitment of the Russian Federation with regard to child protection.

This now leaves only two member States (the Czech Republic and Latvia) to sign this Convention.
