In order to give more people the possibility to participate in the World Forum for Democracy, Universities renowned in the sphere of political studies and international relations will organize satellite events before, during and after the Forum.

The Hertie School of Governance in Berlin, the College of Europe, the Central European University in Budapest, the University Carlo Cattaneo – LIUC, Castellanza, Italy, and the Windesheim University of Zwolle in the Netherlands will organize round table debates and workshops and invite academics, activists and politicians to discuss the Forum’s topics with students and the general public.

The first satellite event “The challenges of free speech and democratic debate online” will take place at the College of Europe, Bruges, Belgium on 3 November.
