The MOQAR project promotes automatic recognition in the Western Balkans

The final conference of the project “MOQAR” – Mapping of Higher Education Qualifications for the Purpose of Automatic Recognition took place in Mostar on 6 November 2024. The project was supported by the Council of Europe Education Department in the framework of the 2024 call for projects “Learners First – Support for the ENIC Centres” and implemented by the CIP (ENIC Bosnia and Herzegovina).

This ambitious project was aimed at overcoming obstacles in the recognition of foreign higher education qualifications by mapping  higher education qualifications for the purpose of automatic recognition in the Western Balkans region.

The final  conference, organised by  CIP (ENIC centre of Bosnia and Herzegovina) was a successful opportunity for fruitful discussions with national authorities, ENIC representatives and other key stakeholders to review the project outcomes and discuss the future of automatic recognition in the region.
