Patrick Penninckx, Head of the Information Society Department addressed the ICCO European meeting on June 4th. In his online presentation to the members of the International Communications Consultancy Organisation, the speaker described the organisational priorities during and after the pandemic. He introduced the Council of Europe toolbox to address the challenges posed by COVID-19, in particular the guidance on protecting freedom of expression, and presented the areas of potential cooperation.
ICCO is a partner of the Council of Europe cooperation with business’ platform which brings together 21 digital companies and their associations committed to promote human rights in the internet.
