The Committee of Parties to the Convention on the Counterfeiting of Medical Products and Similar Crimes Involving Threats to Public Health will review the progress made on country profile questionnaires, the second round of thematic monitoring, and a new compliance procedure designed to assess the implementation by states parties of the recommendations made under the evaluation procedure. The states parties will also exchange updated information on their national policies to combat pharmaceutical crime and the falsification of veterinary products. During this plenary session, the Committee will also consider the follow-up to the 2025 conference on health protection, work on unauthorised recalls of medical products, and the growing impact of artificial intelligence in this area.
