- Description
- The Alvar Aalto Society (est. 1994) was founded in Munich, with representations in Austria and Switzerland. It a non-profit organization aiming at promoting the awareness of Alvar Aalto's work in Europe. It is committed to the preservation, research and protection of its buildings. In addition, the association provides information on trends in Finnish architecture and product design. The society works closely with Finnish museums, scientists and representatives of cultural life.
