The Līgatne Paper Mill Village (Līgatnes papīrfabrikas ciematiņš) is an historical complex of paper industry dating back to 1816. In the villag, a paper mill and the old houses of the workers are still preserved (www.visitligatne.lv/ligatnes-papirfabrikas-ciemata-vesturiskais-centrs)
The Līgatne Paper Mill Village is an Individual Site of the European Route of Industrial Heritage.
