Marisa Cavalli is a teacher and researcher at the former Aosta Valley Regional Education Research Institute, and acts as consultant for the 2016-2019 programme of the European Centre for Modern Languages of the Council of Europe. Language policies, in particular those protecting minority languages, multi-lingualism and multi-culturalism as well as bi-/plurilingual education and teacher training are her main areas of research.
