Cities participating in the Intercultural Cities Network receive, among other services, an expert review of their diversity inclusion policies. The analyses is based on the ICC Index, a bench-learning tool evaluated as being consistent and highly effective by the Migration Policy Group in a Study released in January 2018.
More than 2000 residents of Ukrainian ICC cities answer the ICC Citizenship Test
In 2018, members of Ukrainian ICC network expressed strong interest in piloting the ICC Citizenship Test aiming to assess citizens’knowledge and awareness on human rights, their intercultural competences, their perception of diversity as an advantage, as well as their willingness to act in an intercultural way.
Intercultural City Seminar in Tokyo attracted 40 local government officials
A seminar on the Intercultural City was held in Tokyo on 21 December 2018. It was organised by the Council of Municipalities with Large Migrant Populations. The Council is a national network of 15 cities which aims to promote migrant integration.
