Atrás Working meeting of the “Collaboratory on Social Innovation”

Working meeting of the “Collaboratory on Social Innovation”

The “Collaboratory on Social Innovation” is an informal initiative launched by the Government of Canada, ICC, the Red Cross, and betterplace.org .

At the Milestone event the Collaboratory met again and shared thoughts with ICC cities. On that occasion, ten ICC members agreed to act as pilot cities to test the “user-centred design” methodology to create a "Research and Development (R&D)" process that will help downstream innovation for inclusion at the level of cities.  As a follow up, a working meeting of the Collaboratory will take place in Brussels on 14-15 March to design a working stream that will strengthen the group’s collective capacity to cooperate and sustain a highly functioning local network. Besides, a roundtable open to the public will take place on the 16th and engage these cities in a discussion on the need for more multi-level governance of integration, as well as on how to create and animate new narratives.
