Belarus: Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe presented at the Conference “Conclusion, Observance and Interpretation of International Treaties”

On 20 September, the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe Programme was presented at the Conference “Conclusion, Observance and Interpretation of International Treaties” in Minsk, Belarus.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Council of Europe, with the support of the Council of Europe information point in Minsk after the signature of the MEDICRIME Convention by the Republic of Belarus (24 June 2019) and in view of its ratification.

Mr. Stefano DOMINIONI Executive Secretary of the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe (EPA) and Director of the European Institute of Cultural Routes attended the Conference and presented the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe among other Council of Europe conventions and initiatives. As Party to the European Cultural Convention ratified in 1993, Belarus may accede to the Enlarged Partial Agreement on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe.

The Conference was attended by more than 150 participants representing different Belarusian government bodies and representatives from some Council of Europe member States, International and Public Organisations.
