Mr Iain Cameron, member of the Venice Commission in respect of Sweden, participated online in a meeting of the Committee on Legal Affairs and Human Rights of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which took place in Paris on 8 September 2025.

Mr Cameron presented the ongoing work on the update of the Venice Commission’s Rule of Law checklist (CDL-AD(2016)007) and took part in the subsequent exchange of views with members of the Committee.
