The situation in Ukraine remains unstable, with over six million refugees, mostly women and children, having fled Ukraine, although some start to return (approximately 2 million). The vast majority is now in neighbouring countries. To support those countries most affected by the influx of refugees, the Council of Europe, together with other European and international organisations, promoted and offered standards, tools, expertise and targeted support on protecting vulnerable persons in the context of migration.
In this context, the European Commission has compiled useful resources that can be used on the ground and distributed to people fleeing the war in Ukraine. These sources are updated regularly and timely to reflect the latest information available, as the situation evolves very quickly.
