On 23 February 2018 in Kyiv the wrap-up meeting of the Council of Europe project “Support to the implementation of the judicial reform in Ukraine” took place to mark the end of the implementation of the Project. The project partner institutions were invited to participate and share their feedback about the work of the Project. The event was attended by representatives of the Supreme Court, the High Council of Justice, the High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine, the National School of Judges of Ukraine, the Council of Judges of Ukraine, the State Judicial Administration of Ukraine, the Administration of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
The participants discussed the results of the project implementation and exchanged their views on further cooperation activities between the judiciary projects of the Council of Europe and the Ukrainian authorities.
During the meeting, some of the analytical materials prepared within the Project were presented and distributed to the participants, namely:
- Results of the sociological survey on the trust to the judiciary in Ukraine (the report in Ukrainian is available at the link)
- Results of monitoring the activities of the Public Integrity Council (the report in Ukrainian is available at the link )
- Progress of the execution by Ukraine of judgments of the European Court of Human Rights in the cases “Oleksandr Volkov v. Ukraine” and “Salov v. Ukraine”
- Draft Concept on introduction of remedies from lengthy judicial proceedings in Ukraine (the report in Ukrainian is available at the link ) and others.
