The European Union and Council of Europe Action “Supporting effective domestic remedies and facilitating the execution of the European Court of Human Right judgments” continues developing the capacity of Albanian national institutions to correctly apply the case law of the European Court of Human Rights on property rights and to effectively implement the Law no. 133/2015 “On the treatment of property and finalisation of the process of compensation of property”.

In this context, two training sessions were organised with the staff of the Agency for Treatment of Property on practical application of the commentary to the Law no. 133/2015 recently developed under the Action. 80 participants, including lawyers, engineers and staff of the Agency, were trained on 5th and 12th April in Tirana.

The Action “Supporting effective domestic remedies and facilitating the execution of judgments in Albania” is funded by the European Union and the Council of Europe Horizontal Facility programme and implemented by the Council of Europe.
