Former member of the UN Human Rights Advisory Council
Milena Costas

Milena Costas Trascasas holds a PhD in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and works as human rights consultant. Between 2019 and 2025, she was a member of the United Nations Human Rights Council's Advisory Committee, and acted as rapporteur of a study on the impact of neurotechnologies on human rights. The study, presented in September 2024, has been instrumental to launch within the Human Rights Council a process to develop guidelines on this issue.
