Culture in times of Covid-19 or how we discovered we cannot live without culture and creativity: Impressions and lessons learnt from Covid-19

A collection of diverse texts provided by members of the Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape (CDCPP) provides an interesting account of how countries have been coping with the pandemic in 2020-21. Culture has been hit very hard and the texts testify to the many innovative solutions that the cultural sector has had to put in place rapidly. The texts – from ministers, institutes, writers, artists etc – describe the actions, experiences, reflections, good practices, facts and figures linked to the fight against the impact of Covid-19, all affirming the importance of culture and our basic need to engage with it.
