The Committee of Ministers has decided to submit to the Parliamentary Assembly, for appointment to the post of Deputy Secretary General of the Council of Europe, the following candidatures, listed in alphabetical order (with the names of the sponsoring governments):
- Tanja Gonggrijp (Netherlands/Belgium/Luxembourg) - curriculum vitae
- Marja Ruotanen-Bourdages (Finland) - curriculum vitae
The Parliamentary Assembly will proceed with the election on 23 June during its summer part-session.
