Bureau of the Lisbon Network

The Bureau of the Network meets at least once a year, in order to:
- set out the general thrust of the plenary’s discussions and proposals,
- prepare contributions from the Network’s representatives to other bodies (e.g. the European judicial training network, CCJE, CEPEJ),
- suggest, where appropriate, urgent action to be taken between two plenary meetings.

The members of the Bureau are:

Croatia: Judicial Academy of the Ministry of Justice
Georgia: High School of Justice
Romania: Institut National de la Magistrature
Spain: Judicial School of the General Council of the Judiciary
"the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia": Academy for Training of Judges and Public Prosecutors

The Bureau of the Network elected its new Chair for two years, Mr Constantin Branzan (Director of the National Institute of Magistracy of Romania) at its last meeting on 20 March 2009 in Bucharest.
