30 August-3 September 2010- Pilot Encounter Journalism training, Discrimination and Diversity (Portugal)
This Pilot Encounter was jointly organised by the Council of Europe and the European Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA). The aim was to test the Journalism training pack. It targeted trainers from European Journalism schools and organisations. It took place at the University of Coimbra in Portugal from 30 August to 3 September 2010

31 May to 4 June 2010 - “Communities” and journalistic investigations: evaluation of reports made by the second year students of the Media Institute of Lyon (ISCPA).
In 2010, within the framework of its partnership with the Campaign (Objective 1), the teaching staff of the ISCPA decided to propose to their students to choose a "community" which would be in the centre of a series of reports that she/he would realize within the framework of a week of total dumping.. The investigation week took place from 31 May to 4 June and the students are to return their work on 14 June.
The Campaign participated in the jury in front of which the works were presented.

22 to 25 May 2010 - Colloquium on “Diversity in Journalism Schools”
“Diversity in Journalism Schools”, focal item of a colloquium organised by the Théophraste Network (of French-speaking Journalism training centres) from 22 to 25 May 2010 in Bondy ( France). Media and Diversity Manager Reynald Blion delivered a presentation on the item “How Diversity is dealt with in European Media” on Saturday, 22 May.

Training work 21 to 22 May 2010 - 20th Annual Conference of the European Journalism Training Association
« The Future of Journalism Education » , focal item of the 20th Annual Conference of the European Journalism Training Association (EJTA) held in the UNESCO premises in Paris (France), on 21 and 22 May 2010.
On this occasion, Carole Reich, Campaign Coordinator, presented the antidiscrimination training pack elaborated within the framework the Campaign’s Objective 1: “Training media professionals”.
   
23-26 February 2010 – A workshop for sharing journalism training practices – European Youth Centre – Budapest
After a workshop held in Strasbourg, a meeting was jointly organized by the Council of Europe and the Fundamental Rights Agency (FRA) in Vienna. The aim of this new workshop which followed both was to share journalism training practices related to intercultural and antidiscrimination issues. It focused mainly on the way of nuancing teaching to reach a diverse audience, including modules or assessments which necessitate a better understanding of antidiscrimination legislation or human rights law.

The Council of europe and the EU Fundamental Rights Agency, FRA hosted a workshop for journalism schools and media training institutions to discuss how to strengthen journalistic training.

August 2009 - Anti-discrimination media training workshop
On 26-28 August 2009 media professionals and trainers from 16 different countries gathered at the European Youth Centre in Strasbourg, France. During the workshop they discussed media coverage through an intercultural and antidiscrimination lense. The participants contributed to the development of the campaign’s training pack.
