 Short explanation:

To answer the question of the event, the proposed initiative will start with a discussion of the role of civil society in advancing environmental issues and presentation of real cases and practices of environmental activism affecting the lives of communities today. In order to enhance the importance of civic participation in forming environmental policies, the discussion will be followed by an online Town Hall Meeting that will propose practical solutions to development of comprehensive environmental policy and strategy.

  • Artem Romanyukov, Co-founder of SaveEcoBot, Director of Development at NGO “Save Dnipro”, USPS alumnus
  • Yegor Firsov, Head of Ukraine's state ecological inspection service (2019-2020), Head of the “Environmental Alternative” political party
  • Lesya Vasylenko, Member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, alumna of the USPS Parliamentary Program
  • Oleksandr Marikovskyi, Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Environmental Policy and Nature Management, USPS alumnus
