Stop violence against women - Campaigning through regional co-operation, Working luncheon, United Nations Headquarters,
(New York, 4 June 2008)

The Council of Europe and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of San Marino to the United Nations have organised a working luncheon on Stop violence against women - Campaigning through regional co-operation which will take place on 4 June 2008, 1.15pm, Delegates’ Dining Room, United Nations Headquarters.

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Ms Maud de Boer-Buquicchio and the Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, Ms Asha-Rose Migiro will give opening addresses and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of San Marino to the United Nations will moderate this event which will be attended by high level panellists.

The working lunch will provide an opportunity for an exchange of views on the Council of Europe and United Nations actions to combat violence, including domestic violence in the framework of their respective Campaigns
